I am Courtney Gallagher, the Chief Executive Officer of the Epsilon Iota Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta here at Westminster College.
Epsilon Iota was established at Westminster College in 1982, providing more than 30 years of loyal sisterhood. Our sisters stay busy with their philanthropic activities, campus involvement, as well as academic groups; Thetas are involved in over 60 organizations on campus, and many of these groups have Thetas holding executive positions. While being so incredibly involved with campus activities, we have also maintained the highest GPA on campus for the last 14 consecutive semesters. This accomplishment gives us the longest streak of Top Grades in Kappa Alpha Theta History. Academics are something we truly pride ourselves in and we are continually dedicated to maintain this high standard of excellence.
Epsilon Iota has been presented with many awards due to our involvement and academic achievements, such as the English Cup for the highest GPA on campus and the Key to Success Award. While our chapter has earned many awards, many individual members were recognized for various awards as well, including: the Outstanding Senior Award, the Outstanding Panhellenic Member Award, the Outstanding Greek Officer Award, and the Outstanding Alumni Advisor Award. Epsilon Iota was extremely excited and honored to receive all of these awards!
Fall Recruitment of 2015 was incredibly successful! We warmly welcomed 12 amazing new members to our chapter. Our newest additions to the chapter are full of passion and have thrown themselves head-first into Theta. The energy these new members have brought to our organization constantly reminds us all why we decided to join Kappa Alpha Theta.
